Our Chauncey will be 9 on 1/6/24. He shares my fathers birthday. He had an episode of arthritis in several of his knees and some bladder stones and with proper meds and surgery these have both been remedied. We keep tramadol on hand for the days he seems to hurt but he is always ready to go for a ride or a 30 minute walk. What a joy to have had the pleasure of living with him.

In reply to Ronda Hetz. I had a brother/sister, from pups. I lost my female at 9 from seizure d/o. On phenobarbital most of her life. Her brother lived about 4-6 months after she died. He could not “live without her”. He laided down against a wall in our family room, and never got up. They were special and are irreplaceable.

In reply to Ron Stewart. We have a Buster too!! We love him so much, he was given to us at 5 months old. He’s now 2. We are so lucky. He can make the kids look like angels at times, he likes to do things his way. he always get the blame for popping off, it usually is him! Life is now an adventure, with sofa cuddles at the end, I honestly couldn’t imagine life without him.

In reply to Lee9876. I imagine US Bulldogs could be as watered down as us Americans. But they do seem to look & behave like any English Bulldog. It doesn’t matter to me, but I’m not a breeder. I’ve had them since childhood & adore these sweeties.

In reply to Ron Stewart. Our Lola is age 13 years & 2 months. I actually found & rescued her. She was very sick with a sunburn, weeping ears & eye ulcers. After her first heat we were told she she had a mixed litter of puppies. We got her spayed & the vet helped us nurse her back to health. Lola is SO stubborn but the sweetest soul. Every day we still have with her is a gift.

My Mazy is 6.5.
She is my support. She has unfortunately become anti social after moving to the country. I would love to turn this around. But can no longer take her to the city because of her anxiety and breathing issues if she’s excited. Any helpful advice around people we bring to the home is welcome. She’s very aggressive now of her home. We just lost her Doberman brother. Who she got along with most of the time if toys were not involved. We are thinking of another, but dont want her to hurt it. She’s 100% English with all the papers. She is however to smart. Lol She can learn anything in less than 2 trys. If she feels like doing it is another story.

My English bulldog is 11 on Sunday he is still full of life and loves going for a run with my other dog which is a staffie they are inseparable
