We have just had him put to sleep because of hip problems. When we got him I wasn’t sure about him. After a few months we got to know and love him, and he ended up the best dog I have ever had, protective, loyal, loving, plus he loved my kids and grand kids. The bestest dog in the world.

I’ve wrote this to let people know, forget the bad press about these dogs they are loving and Faithfull, I always said this dog would die for me and the wife, if he needed to and I believed that till the day he died. Always will love him, and will never forget that boy

She is 13 years old this month and has been one of the most affectionate and friendliest dogs I have ever known. We have had her laying next to our newborn granddaughter. and I have seen her get on her belly and crawl up to a toddler or even a little dog. She even won the heart of my father-in-law who was a meter-reader and hated pitbulls!

The bad rap that “pit bulls” have is unfortunate. But I remember when Domermans, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers also were the evil dogs! Yes, a dog can bite and can cause death, but it comes down to the owner understanding the dog and the owner being the Alpha in their pack.

She’ll either lick you to death or beat you to death with her “happy” tail. She lives with cats, and they rule the roost. We take her wherever possible to meet different people and other dogs as we want her always to remain sociable. We couldn’t love her more and our friends and neighbors love her too.
With respect, I take issue with the expression “pitbull breeds”. There is only ONE pitbull breed. There IS a large group of dogs which are part of the BULLY Breeds; the Pitbull is only one of many. Some others are the Amstaff, American Bully, English Staffy, Boxer, Cane Corso, Dogo Argentino, Bull Terrier and even the cute little Boston Terrier. There are more, I just don’t recall all of them.
Having said this, I admit I am NOT an expert, but I do have experience with bully breeds. And aside from this, ALL dogs require gentle but firm discipline and a patient trainer. Any dog can be aggressive and a biter and among the worst of them is the Chihuahua. They can be notoriously aggressive if not properly trained. I’ve experienced this firsthand. The thing with Chihuahuas is that they’re so small, they can’t do nearly as much damage as a large dog and can be tossed to the floor or a couch if necessary (I’d NEVER do this to a little dog unless necessary).
We all know that some Pitbulls are improperly trained by people who want an intimidating animal. When these animals bite and savage humans or other animals, it’s the fault of the human, not the animal. And it’s not just Pitbulls; there are Rotties, Dobies, German Shepherds, and Weimaraners which have been trained to be aggressive and the results are terrible. Sadly, some of these cannot be saved and must be euthanized. ALL these dogs, Pitbulls included, can be wonderful family pets like our dog.
I would strongly suggest that when adopting any Bully Breed, you MUST have experience, or do your research on the breed and seek advice from a professional trainer. All bully breeds carry some of that Bulldog stubbornness as well as most of them are very strong. But if properly trained and loved, you will end up with a loving, affectionate, and loyal companion that will give you years of love.

Hi there, Unfortunately as they are stock photos we aren’t able to identify the dogs pictured in them, but wouldn’t it be a coincidence if it was your dog! You might be able to track the photographer through Adobe Stock Photos, if you are interested in investigating further. Best wishes!

I bought him from a very well known breeder the late Phillip Eppinette out of Eldorado, Arkansas. I’m curious to know if that his him, also I have old pics from his younger days of 4 to 5 months old and they’re looking identical to the above pictures. He was a very skittish personality due to being bred so tight within his bloodline as informed by the Breeder. I’m willing to share pictures to identify him and I’ll send you all the paperwork of his lineage if it pans out.

I’m interested in your feedback many thanks Larissa]]> As an Aussie I feel that any breed made up of staffie, bull dog, bull terrier is surely a pit bull? let’s stop using the term pit bull?
I’m a proud owner of a rescue dog whom after DNA testing was found to be a mix of American staffie English staffie bull terrier and British bull dog 🐶
