When people come to your home, try taking the dog outside to meet them. Then have the dog lead everyone back inside.
Your home is his den, let him be “king”.

I got him 02/04/20 during covid so he did spend almost 6 months not socializing with anyone. He is very sweet at home and cuddly but I have notice this last year he has gotten very aggressive he lunges at people and tries to pull them down and he did nip someone . He has gotten very territorial of me he hates people and some animals. I paid 2 grand in training that did not work and Im worries that he will eventually attack someone he is about to turn 3 in December and I just want him to be friendly less agressive because I will never be able to find someone to watch him. He truly is a sweet boy when he is home with us but people cant even come over because he will attack them

Once he meets a person a couple of times, he's way better with them and he'llbe their friend. Barking for no reason was a huge issue for awhile. We purchased a vibration collar for him, from the recommendation of our Vet. It doesn't shock or hurt him, it literally just gives off a little vibration, that we control with a remote. He only needed the collar 2 times to learn to stop barking when we ask him to. Morkie's are highly intelligent and easy to train. You just need to be consistent and give all positive reinforcement.]]> I have a 2 year old Morkie, named Milo. He’s such a fun little guy! He was SUPER easy to house train. We got him at 8 weeks old in December. It was way too cold at that time to potty train him to go outside, so we used puppy pads indoors until the spring time. It only took 4 days to train him to go outside and not use the puppy pads in the house anymore. He’s never had an accident in the house since training him to go outside. We live on a farm and Milo absolutely loves being outside. We have a very large dog and 5 farm cats. Milo unfortunately gets a thrill out of chasing the cats, however, the cats learned that if they don’t run, Milo won’t chase them. Problem solved! 😄 Milo is incredibly affectionate with our immediate family, however he is not friendly with strangers. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks. She is absolutely the sweetest and loving puppy. She came into my home with 3 Shi Tzu. She absolutely loves them. She does bark a lot and chases my daughter cat. But luckily she doesn’t have too much separation anxiety with her playmates.

He also barks at other dogs when we go on our walks, but if you bring him to the vet or somebody’s else’s house with a dog he’s good as gold, totally different. He had bad GI issues (Gastritis and IBD) for quite some time and it took a lot of testing, turns out he’s allergic to many things. I’ve had him on a raw bison diet for almost two years now with a probiotic and he’s doing great. I make sure to brush his teeth daily and the vet says they are in great shape, so hopefully they stay that way

I do take him out for walks around the block but he be pulling to get back in hopefully he’ll get used to going outside.

Tomorrow we are going to see about a Morkie girl who is 4 1/2 months old and are seriously thinking that this might be a good playmate for our Chi. Hopefully they will get along and all will be good..fingers crossed lol. Excited to meet this little Morkie anxious at the same time…wish us luck!

We also have a Jack Rat, named Zeke who is about 8 yrs old. Moxie came into our home where Zeke,, 2 cats, and a couple of gerbils already lived here. Moxie is an adorable little thing! Very affectionate, energetic, possessive, a tad bit crazy! She is a lap dog and loves to sleep on my lap, or under my chin! She fully believed that she is the queen and the other pets her subjects! She’s a great pup and we are over the moon with her!

She the sweetiest little girl. She weighs all most 8lbs. Physically she she has the hair of her father, he was a Yorkie. When I got her she had the coloring of a Yorkie & the ears of a Maltese her ears flop over. But after her 1st hair cut she came home blond!

She was hard to house break but finally after 8mos. it sunk in. Now if she needs to go potty during the night she will come up to me & very gently bite me on the nose to wake me.

She gets along perfectly with our Mini Schnauser. They love to take turns chasing each other around the backyard. And when they do they can get pretty noisy.

She loves curling up in my lap while I watch TV or read. She loves people & thinks anyone that comes to the house is there to see her. She loves going to the Dog Park to play with her friends, old & new.

She’s still young but so far she a wonderful little girl & I wouldn’t trade her for anything.
