The fact that they told you he was a lab and wouldn’t go over 20lbs should have been your first red flag and I don’t know any lab that weighs less then 20lbs. It sounds that even though he’s much heavier then 20lbs he is much loved and a wonderful addition to your family.

The breeder never gave me a health certificate signed by a vet. My vet informed me that he sold the dog illegally to me. I don’t believe he is a pure breed and having a DNA test done. If it turns out that he is not a full breed can I get my money refunded. i paid $1,800 for the puppy.

I am going to report him to the American Kennel Club if it isn’t full breed. Bichons have curly hair and he doesn’t. I had 2 bichon-frise prior to him.

I guess it’s kind of a specialized market. Purebred dogs have the benefit of consistent appearance and aptitude over mixed-breeds.

Also they told me that it wouldn’t get over 20 pounds. Lol well guess what hes at 85 pounds. We think hes part lab and saint benard mix. Everybody says he looks like a Saint beneard. He is now 4 years old we got him at like 2 months. So you never know what you are gonna get when you rescue a dog.
