we plan to call our new dane puppy either apollo or zeus. our last 2 danes were called caesar, loved that name, but after just losing him few weeks ago, can’t handle saying that name to new pup without crying.

We got our first Great Dane back in November. He is a black Great Dane named Hamilton. We call him Ham or Hammy for short. He has been a great addition to our family and we have become addicted to Great Danes.

My first dane was a black female named Kaci. Second was Socks a beautiful big blue boy with four white paws, hence the name Socks. Now I have Trax the harlequin and getting his baby brother in two weeks who is a gray merle who I’ve name Thomas because he looks so regal.

In reply to margherita delach. I truly understand your pain. I was able to have mine for 6 wonderful years before a tumor on his heart took him. There will never be another Socks.
