In reply to Richard D. Wyatt. Sending love and prayers to you, Richard. I lost my best friend, Rawley, to a car hit and run right in front of my eyes. I got to him in time for him to realize I was picking him up off the street. He died in my arms. Such a helpless feeling I have never felt before or since.

I just got a blue heeler/ pit bull His name is Kaiser I’ve had lots of dogs over the years but I must say he is the smartest dog I’ve ever owned He’s only 6 months old and already knows lots of tricks Awesome dog

My guy is named Gator. He is a Queensland Healer and is now 14-1/2 years young. He is my partner I everything I do. He has my husband and I compartmentalized, my husband plays ball inside and I do everything with him outside. He hikes, plays ball and swims in the summer, he loves traveling in our motorhome and car. He wants to go anywhere we go. He never barks when people come to door, but will not shut up when he gets excited about his fun activities. He sleeps with me untouched l my husband comes to bed, but expects belly rubs from him before he gets on his own bed. He is protective, loyal, loving and so smart that we speak to him and he understands everything. He is our all and we love him more than we can even state. Recent MRI has recently determined he has two bulging disc. Noting to cause him pain. We have been told not to play ball with him any longer. We still play in the house with him and I let him play outside once a week, but only throwing on ground and not his air balls he has always loved. He is adjusting to this better than we thought he would. So far his health is great and I pray he will be with us for another ten years.

In reply to Richard D. Wyatt. I am 82 and can relate to some of what you’ve said. Without our best friends we aren’t whole and complete. Unconditional forever love has four feet, the two front being paws. God made the special for us. After all God backwards is Dog! What an awesome blessing.
