We named our first, ‘Hiro,’ and we just lost him to cancer. We are heartbroken. My spouse had already earmarked a new playmate for Hiro before he was diagnosed; so he just brought him home. We’d had a pair of litter mates…. Hiro and Kaia. Kaia died a year ago from a ruptured ovarian cyst. They are SUCH beautiful, amazing friends. Tough to say goodbye. 🥲

Towa, which means eternity and Setsuna, which means a moment. Right now I am leaning more towards Towa, but I think it also depends on the puppy, right?

We also want to train her with Japanese commands, so noone has a clue what we are talking, but the three of us. That will be fun!
