My 4 1/2 month Shih Tzu “grazes” when it comes to eating. We take him out every hour or so. He pees mostly outside, yay, and half of his poops are made outside. We give him treats and lots of praise. A lot of times when he is outside he is More interested in Pulling up the grass and the roots instead of doing his business, so he frequently poops indoors and we don’t know how to stop this. Help!

In reply to Debbie. Possibly try to take the wee wee pads outside that way he gets a feel for going outside. Do that for about a week and then slowly make the wee wee pad smaller like every couple of days make it slightly smaller by cutting pieces off.

I have a 1 month old cocker spaniel. I take him out and he doesn’t want to use the bathroom at all. When I come back in the house he goes to the bathroom on the wee wee pads instead of outside.

In reply to Judy. Stay outside until she relives herself. Make no contact when you go outside until she goes to toilet. Then give her so many treats, lots of prasie and play.

I have a 1 1/2 year old terrier/dauschound that I rescued 4 months ago. Qhen I take her outside to potty she is only interested in the squirrels. the leaves, or what is going on in the neighborhood. zThen when shecomes inshe relieves herself onthe carpet. Any ideas would be appreciated.
