I’m worried net time it may be worse she may need stitches or a grandchild. There is no growling or aggression to people so far but she tends to guards any food area (food bin, kitchen or anywhere food is present).What sholuds we do?

My dog has tired to bite my daughter twice now when he comes to food. Once a when she was near his food bowl and another when I was cleaning out the fridge and had food out. They both walked up at the same time and he bit her. Never broke the skin but still made contact. When he eats I can touch his mouth or take his food and he doesn’t care it’s only with my toddler he does it.
