The brand I used to feed has doubled in price! When I look online for inexpensive dog food – none are in my budget right now. Is it okay to buy dog food brands at the grocery store that are more economical than brands ranked on websites available at pet stores?

I’m in a situation where I can’t afford dog food a lot of the time. When I make dinner. I remove some of the browned hamburger before I add whatever seasonings etc for what I’m making. Then I add the plain hamburger to the brown minute rice I’ve made for her.

Yes there have been a couple times where I couldn’t afford dog food. I cook her brown rice and mix that with about a 1/2 cup of cooked carrots mixed with 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil and blueberries..

She loves it and she chows down.

I bought four cans of dog food yesterday for $17. I can’t afford to buy the food except my dog has a medical condition. She gets gastritis if she eats any other food. I’m looking for a solution.

I feed my dog on left overs. My vet told me that dogs in a natural habitat are scavengers and so this would be their natural diet.
She is as fit as a fiddle and has a perfect, athletic figure.
Her absolute favourite is chicken roast dinner with veg and gravy!
It’s cheap too!

I have owned a lot of GSD’s
All sable. This is my first time owning a GSD that is solid back.

I will say i find the black GSD to be more active and full of themselves. They will not back down at all.

I also find the Black GSD to have A very luscious coat. Almost mink like in shine and softness. I also find the black GSD sheds less.”
