I just got a chichon he is 4 months old. I also have a Pomeranian. And they play very well together I can’t. I can’t wait to see what he’s looks like fully grown. He’s very good little dog

I lost my Chichon a month ago. He would have been 16 in November. I had him since he was 7 weeks old. He was so easy to train, never chewed anything he wasn’t supposed to. Highly intelligent, extremely loveable. He did have dental problems and had to have some teeth removed. He was born with a heart murmor and passed due to CHF. I still cry every day, I miss him so much.

In reply to Melmel. Divert her attention elsewhere, like a chew toy. She/he will eventually outgrown the biting when she gets her big-girl teeth.

I have a one-year old Chichon (Bunny) who was found on the streets in Dallas. She is adorable and has the sweetest personality. The only problem I have had with her is marking my bed. I have a cat and I think it’s Bunny way of telling the cat, not to venture near the bedroom or bed. She hates the vet and will scream like a banshee if the vet tries to do anything to her, like even hold her. Also, she is so attached to me, it is difficult to leave her alone without her throwing a fit. She is so charming, I overlook these issues and continue to train her.

I just did genetic testing and found that my 11 yr old dog is a Chichon! I always thought she was a Jack Russell terrier/chihuahua mix. I adopted her from a stray rescue, so we weren’t sure what breed she was until now. It’s exciting! She’s the best dog. Fun, cuddly, athletic, hunts for moles and lizards all day. I love hearing about the rest of your chichons in this page. I’m sorry for those who have lost their Chichon. I worry about the day she’s passes. For now I try to make every day a great day for her

I have a Chichon, he is nearly 9 months old and a complete nutcase. Loves people, not overly keen with other dogs since one jumped on him whilst we were out walking. Apart from that he is absolutely adorable. I had two Chihuahua’s previously so can see some of his Chi traits, but he is a lot more like playful than they were.

I had a chihuahua bichon mix for 18 years, she was the best dog I ever owned. She had the friendliest personality and we were in sync. I miss her.
