I would worry about heart disease. This causes buildup of fluid in the lungs. That’s good ur dog can get it out!

My spouse believes the hacking is just part of the reverse sneezing and calls it the same thing even though the dog does not do the reverse sneezed as shown in the video, before or after the hacking. Are they the same? Does it get worse with age? My dog is about 10 years old now. He only started the hacking part of it about 2 years ago and it is getting worse. Day and night.

It’s like she get so excited it brings it on. I feel so bad for her because sometimes she pees from it too. It seems like it is really hurting her. I don’t know what to do to help her.
