He has passed his akc star puppy exam and recently his canine good citizens test. We are currently training for community canine good citizens. He still has the ability to be totally insane however.

It was just 4 pups. One looks exactly like momma (white and black) the second looked just like the dad (all white) and the next too were almost all black with little white underbelly. That had me confused since I never knew that black huskies were a thing :). Thanks for this article it was very helpful.

His steel blue eyes contrasted with his black face is a show stopper. We have had both siberians and malamutes and returned to siberians due to our age and wanting to downsize. Our wonderful malamutes were all over 100 pounds and we expect shadow to be 50-60. Other than size, the main difference would be temperament. He is a wild and crazy guy and hopefully age and training will improve this. He takes his akc star puppy exam next month. Not sure he is ready.
